Product Overview

Purified exosomes (small EVs) and microvesicles (large EVs) are produced from cell-conditioned media prepared from cells sourced from a certified cell bank. Exosomes/small EVs (40–120 nm) are purified using a tangential flow filtration process using HBM-LS filter TFF-EVs, followed by HBM-LS size exclusion chromatography (SEC). Purified EVs are validated and characterized for overall protein content, marker expression (CD9, CD63, CD81), particle concentration and size distribution (Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis performed with the ZetaView® Evolution analyzer, Particle Metrix), and morphology (TEM).

The effects of lyophilization on EV protein stability are comparable to other storage methods, including storage at −80 °C. Lyophilized vesicles are easy to store and ship, and remain stable long-term for up to 36 months.

Applications: Control (spike-in) for EV quantification, protein marker analysis (ELISA, WB, flow cytometry). Extraction and analysis of EV associated nucleic acids (qPCR, ddPCR, RNA seq). NTA, fluorescent NTA (F-NTA). Single EV analysis by Electron microscopy (TEM), Fluorescent microscopy.

Advantages: Highly pure and characterized, easy to reconstitute, easy to ship and store (+4°C), Long term storage stability (36 months).

Origin: Human Colon Carcinoma cell line COLO1
Quantity per vial: 50 µl (number of particles in 50 µl: > 1x10^9)
Storage of lyophilized exosomes: Store up to 3 years at 4°C (Expiration date indicated on the label).
Storage of reconstituted exosomes: Stored at -20°C for up to one month or at -80°C for up to 6 months. Recommended to avoid repeated freeze-and-thraw cycles
