Product Overview

FLUO-EVs are stably-fluorescent Extracellular vesicles expressing the fluorescent protein EGFP (green) and  mCherry (red) as fusion protein respectively with tetraspanin CD63 and CD9. FLUO-EVs are purified in combination of tangential flow filtration (TFF) and size exclusion chromatography (SEC) from genetically engineered cells in order to co-express the CD63-EGFP and CD9-mCherry. FLUO-EVs demonstrated high stability of the fluorophores, they can be used for in vitro tracking studies or as reference material for analyzers of nanoparticles or for assay calibration.

Characteristics: Particle size distribution 50 – 140 nm, lyophilized, storage at 4-8 °C.

Applications: Positive control for EV analyzers (NTA, flow Cytometers, fluorescence microscopy), cell spike-in and in vitro tracking, EV uptake monitoring, assay and instrument calibration.

Origin: human embryonic kidney (HEK293 cells)
Quantity per vial: 1x10^9 fluorescent particles.
Storage of lyophilized exosomes: Store up to 1,5 years at 4°C (Expiration date indicated on the label).
Storage of reconstituted exosomes: Stored at -20°C for up to one month or at -80°C for up to 6 months. Recommended to avoid repeated freeze-and-thraw cycles.
